Tonight my wife and I went to a party that a friend of ours was having, and I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting much of it when I went. But it’s amazing how God works, and brings people together that you’d never expect.

At the party tonight there were two other couples involved in Children’s ministry at different churches, and it was cool to talk with them, and hear about what they’ve been doing. It’s awesome to be reminded of how God’s moving and working all around us, in people’s lives, churches, and ministries.

Tonight was an unexpected night of fun, laughs, good time, and encouragement. It’s a good thing I’m not in charge, with my frequently pessimistic perspectives!
